Uma is working with Badger, a trans man. This was the second time they connected. In their first check in they had a conversation about Badger's gender identity and investigated what would help him feel safe and acknowledged during the subsequent session. They established the pronoun that would be used for him (he), and the potential parameters of the session - did he want to be naked? did he want his genitals touched? What words does he use for his genitals? They spoke about his comfort levels around being filmed, and his experience with the modality of active receiving. The intention of him leading the session with his own breath, movement, touch and asking for the extra touch that he wanted was established.
