Peter invites Dragon to be aware of sounds, sensations, body
feelings, and thoughts but not to attach to any of them. Dragon is an
experienced somatic meditator. He knows how to allow the sensations and
thoughts to be without attaching to them.
Reginald Ray: “Just carry out the practice with an open mind and open
heart, but let go of any attempts to achieve anything. We are
instructed not to set up any conceptual ideal, such as that of peace or
stillness. We are simply attending to the body, with gentleness and
