Joseph Kramer Ph.D.
Founder and Director
After ten years as a Jesuit, committed to celibacy, Joseph Kramer devoted his life to bringing erotic pleasure to himself and to the world. In 1984, he founded the Body Electric School where he trained thousands of professional masseurs and erotic bodyworkers. In 1992, he started the Erospirit Research Institute, a think tank exploring the connection between spirituality and sexuality. In 1999, he founded The New School of Erotic Touch. He is currently Assistant Professor of Clinical Sexology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. Chester Mainard

Bruce P. Grether spent the first forty years of his life living mostly in his head. His breakthrough came when he watched Joseph Kramer's

Carol Queen is the founder and director of the Center for Sex and Culture in San Francisco. She is a writer and cultural sexologist with a doctorate in education in human sexuality. Ed Ehrgott recently left a 22 year career in computer technology. While he enjoyed this career, he felt that something in his life was missing.
